Eastern Tailed Blue
Everes comyntas female? 3/4 inch
There are a few of these around but I am finding it very difficult to capture them. They seem to like the low light areas-- and are very skittish.
Thank you to Walter (Gajewski) for his User Award for the Damselfly. Very much appreciated!

1 award for a rim of light and a lovely little tail.
Low light but the image glows. Lovely bit of rim lighting, Jenn.

What a super picture Jenn in all respects. I have to admit to frustration though - the weather here in a so-called Summer has resulted in a complete absence of butterflies in my garden - I'll have to get out somewhere if I am to try and match all the wonderful images by you and others!
Mike
Your perseverance has paid off Jennnn, this is a fabulous image of this tiny beauty.
