Ever had one of those Sunday mornings that will always be with you? This was one for me.. sitting on the rocks watching the tide recede, looking across from the shore at Elgol, Skye towards the Misty Cuillin Hills.
An early springtime view that has no need for sunshine to show off its natural beauty.

Like the morning tones and light in this fine capture Jeanie.
The long exposure has given this an almost dreamy feel.

What a beauty this is, Jeanie - love the contrast between the solidity of the hard rock foreground and the soft, moving distance.

Ah, excellent idea, this composition, I can't believe I didn't think of it when I was there - but I suppose I just wasn't able to ignore that wonderful rock to the right, and you were, so: well done! Love the composition, the light on the famous rock in the foreground, the colours, excellent work!

You always did like slipping about on rocks by the sea. I've never found this great canonball as yet, maybe I need to go further round the corner. Great long exposure Jeanie, another reason to justify your long drive up here to Skye, and you'll be back, I know.
