This is a shot from Fairburn Ings, taken a few weeks ago. It's a crop from a lo bigger shot - just spotted that these 3 heads all looked like the echo in a wave.

Went mono as the colours were just browny nastiness, but thought the orange beaks were worth saving.

Not really a bird man, but if I get something a little different to the 10000000 shots of swans that arrive each week, I'll post it

Nice. Very nice Like the beaks, and you're right about the echo. It is indeed a little different from the norm, this image.

Certainly different, I thought for a moment that it was a cloning job - shame on me! The mono conversion/colour popping works very naturally here.
