Edwardian Shadows. This is a detail of our bandstand in Clydebank in the process of getting renovated. It has been in Clydebank since 1907 when it was first installed in Dalmuir Park. In 1935 it was moved to Whitecrook Park, wher in the 50s as a boy, I discovered it and myself and my two sisters would play in it for hours. it could be a castle, a ship, anything your imagination could think up. My daughter played in it in the early 80s. In 1983 it was moved to the Clyde Shopping Centre and in 2010, it was moved a few hundred yards nearer the Forth and Clyde canal which runs through the shopping centre. Now in 2011, It will soon be ready for new generations of children to play on it.
