Great warm colours, just what I need with the cold weather.
The composition and the interest in this shot are bang on.

Fabulous shot - well worth the large view, well done !
Chris
Quote: That is somethig different for this spot, the light picks up the FG seaweed superbly. Look at cropping out the right half of the image and see what you think?
Thanks everyone for your time and comments, appreciate it very much and Mel thanks for the tip, already done it tho, exactly as you described looks ok vertical now too, I was going to post it in the future, what was that about great minds?? ![]()
Quote: The wider view is also so good, Wolfy. Others have commented on how well the seaweed shows up and I was wondering if you had used a polariser to achieve that. It's not often we see Eilean Donan from that side of the loch.
Ronnie.
Thx Ronnie, I had I NDx8 and a NDx4 Grad, the light did the rest, I got quite a few shots from here all within the space of a few mins as it was light was changing so fast
The light and tones in this are just superb. Congrats

Not the 'usual' viewpoint, but all the better for it. Adds excellent contextual value to this popular venue... Dave
The waters of Loch Duich have lots of weed and it shows here beautifully.
