These i found growing over the local fields in a shrub or tree in a wooded area.
They are Elder flowers.
A small to medium sided tree or shrub. They have oval saw-toothed leaves , 5-7 to a stalks.
The bark is a browny-grey colour it is smooth and often coated in green lichen.
They produce thousands of tiny blossoms from May till August ,when blackish purple berries follow the flowers.

The berries have a high Vitamin C content.

Pick the flowers when the heat of the sun is on them with plenty of pollen on the flower blossoms.

You can make elderflower cordial from the flowers, lemonade, cheesecake , cake, Sorbet
