I noticed this Bank Vole running into a hole around the roots of a tree. I set up my camera at the entrance of the hole and waited .................. It then appeared to my left coming out of another hole, which it quickly disappeared back into ! After some time I noticed there were a couple more such holes, which it made fleeting appearances from. However, eventually he did come out of the original hole and had a quick nibble on a twig allowing me to take a few frames before disappearing again.

Another cracker Phil. A great combination of super sharpness and lovely light for this little fella.

Great capture, not many people will have seen one, even less taken a photograph.
