These marathon divers have the ability to advance on water, half submerged or body submerged as in this image. We may call them cormorant while you may term them as ' shag'....I suspect.

Tony, I have some pictures of these and they are so hard to take a good picture of. Their color is hard for the camera to pick up in any light. They have different shades of brown,black and some oil slick coloring. I think you did a great job.Smile
