I was not happy with the grainy processing of this image posted a few days ago, so attempted a new modification.
PLease let me know which version you prefer and why. I prefer this version.

This is beautiful. I prefer this one too. There was a lot of noise in the last one although it didn't detract. But this one has more glow to it. There is a shininess/highlights in her hair that is very pretty. Her eyes appear a little more alive and sparkly. No noise but still great detail.......Sandy
I much prefer the previous, this one looks as though it has been overworked. It is much less real and less natural, which detracts and takes attention way from your daughters natural beauty. For me, a touch too much, but this is only my own myopic opinion.
Enchanted! So was I by this lovely picture
I totally agree with NevP.
Have a great weekend

I see what he means, but this is lovely, so was the original colour and mono.
I think I prefer this one (just) - the grain was interesting, but this has a smooth kind of glow to it that makes me think of fairies for some reason
Wow that is a stunning portrait shot.
This is my favourite too as it is far more vibrant. I think it's brilliant!
I prefer this version too.
It's an exceptional portrait.
Both very good but the white's of the eyes on this one not quite right?
Great portrait, but I still prefer the original - NevP puts it well, & I agree with him.
this is fantastic mono is wonderful
This is a superb poignant image that I like very much. I have done a mod not to improve the picture but to give it a different look. All I have done is to extend the canvas at top and right to give the girl more space to look into. You could extend even more if you wanted to. Andy
Both great shots Angi and I wish I had taken either.
A beautiful portrait of an attractive girl, beautiful.
Both this and the original are excellent, I think I actually prefer the 'grainy' version, although the hair looks a little over sharpened.
This is beautiful...
I agree with RachelMB. Smoothness or Grain they are both great images, it comes down to personal preference I feel. Phil
I would of been happy with either, such a lovely portrait - like the colour version too!
I like a bit of grain so this has the right title.. enchanting imagery
Outstanding post processing.
