Apologies to those who viewed and clicked before - I fell out with the "eyes" at the end of the tunnel. That one's included in v2 as an experiment but I felt a bit of a cheat adding them in...

Anyways, some good shadows in Lancs today... Thanks for looking pals

The lighting on this is great. There must be at least another dozen shots within this one small area.

A most unusual, slanted pov that adds mystery to the strong perspective and even stronger shadows. I'm glad you chose to lead with V1 as the second version is whimsical rather than mysterious.

Thanks both Bills, especially woolybill for your honest input - I see what you mean, I've definitely fallen out with v2.

That central shadow is perfect...the eyes have it for me, but then I'm not averse to a bit of PS jiggery pokery..V1 is great though

The composition is brilliant, particularly the way the zig-zags fit into the bottom lefty corner so neatly. As for the eyes, probably better out than in - but mousing over the two and making the eyes blink is very entertaining!
