The thumbnail will no doubt be the first nail in this one's coffin. I had a really good night of photography. A new lens has come in to test so I went for a cycle this evening to start the trial. The lens is a plastic toy lens for the Olympus Pen. It's got a fixed f/8 aperture, a focal length of 25mm and a crude focusing system. I took loads of different kinds of shots and got some interesting results. I'll be writing up the review soon.
Here's one of my favourite. The halo and vignette are from the lens not Photoshop. I shot at a higher ISO to introduce noise.

actually Pete the wheat has come out quite sharp, a little different but I would say for a trial and a first its good
The more I look, the more I like - definitely an acquired taste, but it's different which, to me, is good!
