Probably a flatter trajectory with higher muzzle velocity, just guessing...

and softer on the shoulder too - all these modern shooters are wusses you know, bring back the wooden/brass stock and that kick like a mule Wink

Goggz guess is spot on, the 303 version is much harder on the shoulder and less forgiving.

I was thinking of posting a similar shot of a Mauser K98.
It has lovley furniture.
