The options were make my way to work early or drive in the opposite direction and do a whistle stop walk of a marshy reserve field followed by a longer dash of to work....NO CONTEST.
Being a sunny morning helped me decide and these were in the far corner of the field hiding in amongst the grasses.

What a lovely sight, but I feel it could do with just a little brightening up. Excellent capture regardless.

Thanks again.....

Barbara.......anything that delays the clocking in time...if they pay from 1.30 get in at 1.30...rant over...lol

Chris...Fine...I tried brightening it and the whites kept blowing so I went the other way to darken the shade and let the whites look after themselves. Smile

Field daisies, so wildly beautiful....makes me wonder if the phase "daisies won't tell" came from trysts in the meadow.

Hi Keith,

Nice capture, it works well.

Keith there are a few ways you could brighten the image but the easiest if you use elements/ps etc is to use the "Shadows & Highlights" option. In Ps this is found by going to "Image" > "Adjustments" > "Shadows/Highlights" and in elements "Enhance" > "Adjust Lighting" > "Shadow/Highlights", make sure you tick the box for all the options.

This is the only adjustment option I used in the mod.

Take care
Martin

Thanks Martin....In my P/shop (7),it does not have Shadow/Highlights and I don't have Elements but thanks for the Mod which has certainly brightened up the B/g.

Thanks for the Mod ...Not the same as the previous One....I can see why everyone thinks it's too dark now.

Sometimes blown highlights look OK. Reducing them makes the whites grey, which doesnt look as good as slightly blown but white.

And another mod with a crop.
