This is my first attempt at stitching together a macro panorama.
It's the guts of an old Canon AE1 camera.

Great "technological" picture, I've always wondered what camera innards look like Smile How many original images did this take?

Cheers! I was surprised when I took the camera to bits how much computery stuff there is!
The photo is stiched from about 12 originals. I had to layer them up in an attempt to solve the no depth of field problem.
I have another that is about 3 times as long and 3 times as close as this one which I will post today. I hope I manage to do it justice with the uploading malarchy

I like this one better, Gary. As for your DOF problem. Get plenty of light into the shot, which will allow you to close the aperture down.

Thankyou! Unfortunately the aperture is already stopped down as far as it will go. The only other way to get any more depth of ield is to "scan" the area with the cameras focus fixed at a different distance each time, then layer the images allowing only the sharp areas to be seen. Takes ages!
