The combination of elaborate man-made detail and dappled, random shadows is very attractive. I'd rather see this taken face-on though,rather than at an angle; those shapes need to be regular for my eye, they would then contrast better with the anarchic shadows.
Plus taking this from further to your left would have given more importance to the shadow of a figure lying across the road.
I realise that it's a long way to go back for a retake, though...
