I think this is lovely and the sky is wonderful, it reminds me of my years living in the New Forest. The tail of the smaller horse is swishing in the breeze and following the patterns in the sky. I like the way the larger silhouetted horse can either be looking forward or backwards, a sort of optical illusion. I think I would have cloned out the little bush (?) under the larger horse, it looks a bit like a birdSmile.

That's very beautiful.. I love the POV as well...
Just one thought, did you mean to keep a kind of magentas colour in the sky?
Paul, as you know, I don't do MODs on other people's photos, I'm learning... I really love this image. So I decided to give a closer look. I tried to use selective colour to reduce the magentas colour, but failed. And then I checked your ISO(800), it was noise. I tried noise reduction, it worked well. You don't need too much strength, 1 or 2 will do, because you would lose the sharpness of the horse if the strength is too high, but I pushed colour noise reduction up to 100%.
Still, an excellent shot with beautiful sky...

BTW, thank you very much for your kind and helpful comment on Corfe Castle.

Thanks Pam your right. Have already cloned out some barb wire. They were pretty lively and frisky horses too and I'm not that confident with them especially in failing light. Thanks for all your comments. Hadn't thought about the forward backwards bit until you mentioned. All feedback appreciated as always. Paul

This made me grin.We have a lot of urban cowboys in and around Dublin so I am never to surprised as to where I'd see them.I was dropping my neice home this evening and on a main road I spotted this horse standing on a hill of muck,,all I could think of was ah **** wish I had my camera.Beautifully lit from behind just like this.My neice was a bit shaken by my reaction but saw the funny side of it.Well I am glad one of us got the shot,Wink An very nice it is two.
