...day one in a brief encounter with this young pony high on a hill on South Uist.
I don't usually do animals but enjoyed the few minutes with this delightful creature.

When I saw the title of this shot, I thought of you Dougie, then thought - nah Dougie doesn't do animals. You have caught a beautiful shot of this pony. It looks as though it is quite shy and just stealing a quick glance at you. Moira

Brought to mind one of my Dad's old sayings...."I see you got the horse's arse". Anyway, this is much much better than what my Dad meant when he said that - cute and cuddly.

A fine wee pony, Dougie: quite a different head shape and coat texture to other species.
Ronnie.

Lovely capture!

Certainly a compact looking pony Dougie, good details and tones in the coat.

He looks tiny judging by the blades of grass - lovely detail on his muzzle.

I don't really do animals either, unless there's a particular interest. I don't think I could have resisted this one.

What a cute wee thing! Only a little higher than the grass! Smile You captured this shy little guy so beautiful, and just in the right moment.
