I was fortunate enough to get this image yesterday, although it's not a full frame image :-( I was quite pleased with it.

Taken in landscape orientation I've cropped it to portrait, same height, just some of the sides missing.

If the light had been better I would of had a shot of it just before it entered the water but the shutter speed was too slow and the Kingfisher was too fast..Lol..

How comes you can capture this moment, but when the GG was in flight all you did was complain that you couldn't lock on. Obviously NOT challenging enough for you Tongue

Actually Tony I think this shot is incredible. I know a lot of people will be comparing this with the shots from last year by AR, but since yours did not involve a fish tank, so you had no control over the entry and exit points of the KF I think this took more craft.

I'll give you a free place in autumn for a couple of hours with the KF Smile
