The Minolta was a bit difficult to start but once I got the hang of it OK. One problem though when you csna into Photshop you have to close down the scanner to get back inot photoshop this does become tiresome especially when you have a lot of slides to scan.

Sometimes you have to shut down a flatbed scanner too, in order to get back into the editor, so that isn't exclusive to the film scanner, is there a utility program to hold your scans till you're done scanning?

You can scan 4 slides or 6 negs to an index scan. Youn then have to scan them to your program. No hold facility that I know of. The Utility program is a bit naff I find.
