A break from the snow scenes as I managed a couple of hours out this evening, I went out with my long lens hoping to see some wildlife, no joy but I could not pass up the nice light.
Standing on the mountain just above my house I zoomed in to this lovely scene on the other side of the valley.
I am getting my interest in landscapes again so may be more to come when I get the chance.
Thanks for looking and hope a few of you like it.
Regards. - gary

The light is good and some lovely clouds to go with it, Gary.

You've caught some wonderful light on the hillside Gary, what a beautiful and remote part of the world you live in
That's an excellent image, Gary and razor sharp on those buildings. Really appealing composition but it's the light on your foreground that's the icing on the cake. Great work

The kind of photograph you just have to take! Nicely composed too, Gary.

An overcast sky can produce such amazing angry, vivid light, particularly when it hits acid yellows. Powerful image in its simplicity.
