Another image from Merriments. I like the backlit buds, although, sadly, I think the flower is a bit featureless except on the underside of the petals.

Before reading your descrip, I found myself drawn to the lovely backlit furriness of the buds and stalks.

Don't worry about the flower. It doesn't always have to hog the limelight Smile
