Morning folks. This is Glencoe Lochan, a beautiful lochan which lies behind Glencoe Village. Only about a mile to walk around but with the right light, the reflections are beautiful. This was an evening walk round the lochan. This is manmade. The trees were transplanted from the Pacific Northwest Canada. Donald Alexander Smith acquired Glencoe estate in 1895, and had this created for his Canadian wife who was homesick for her ow land. It is now cared for by the forestry commision. Thanks for C&Cs on yesterday's upload.
