The only adjective I can find to describe this sunset is beautiful. Having said that, I think the author has made a basic error, here. Surely the point of shooting a sunset is to capture the sky, so why have half the frame black?
Far better, I think, to have tilted the camera up and captured more of those beautiful colours in the sky, placing the horizon lower in the frame, than splitting the frame in half as we have here.
Whether by accident or design, it matters not a jot, I note that the author has metered on the mid-tones of the sky allowing some of the clouds to be burnt out. This, again just my view, merely enhances the depth of colour in the warm tones of the sunset.
