"Something a little strange for today". I found this rotting old training shoe on the beach at Dungeness sometime ago, originally I was going to sketch it, however I thought it made for a good image. An image which one could imagine all sorts of happenings.

Thank you for all your kind comments and messages following yesterdays upload, and a special mention to Rontear (Ron) and pmeswani (Prashant) for their most welcomed Users Awards.

Yesterday went well as could be expected in Sevenoaks, however when we got back Kizmet was not well, he had vomited a rather unpleasant radio active looking bile throughout the utility room. A visit to the vet and an antibiotic injection followed by medicine to be administered every 8 hours later he was soon back to his bombastic self. "A huge relief I can tell you".

Well I am off up to London today as you may or may not know. I shall take my lap top and if I get a moment I will have a glance and admire your great images.

I hope that you all have a wonderful day, highest regards as always

Nathan GrinGrinGrin

I remember spending one trip to Dungeness just photographing abandoned wellies... Lost footwear always fascinates me. How long was it before the owner noticed... ? How did he get home... ? It's almost always men's footwear that one finds.
This is an original, witty treatment, it progresses the theme nicely. Like it a lot.
Just don't leave the trainer sealed in the bag or it will ferment!

Most intriguing, Nathan Smile. Glad to hear Kizmet is back to his normal self again, it's always worrying when they are unwell. He'd probably found and eaten something quite disgusting, and was only too glad to reject it from his stomach Grin Carol

Different and interesting Nathan. Isn't it strange that only one shoe/boot is found and not two?

I think this is quite amusing - I read the text on the bag - hope it's not your dinner!!! I remember being ready for church one morning & Katie had been sick everywhere - little piles through 2 rooms!!! My husband volunteered to clean it so I was out the door rapidly before he changed his mind when he saw how much!!!! Good luck today!Smile Chrissie
