Hi everyone, many thanks for the good wishes for Nick and my Silver Wedding Anniversary!Smile We had a wonderful 'Do' followed by a lovely short break in the Cotswolds, mad busy since our return.

I had to upload this shot as I heard via Facebook yesterday the exciting news that the beautiful Puna, a Sumatran tiger has had 2 babies as part of the European Rare Species Breeding Program! Mum and cubs are doing well and Nias is a Dad again!
So she was already pregnant when I took this image in June. Not the best shot ever, as she was right at the back of the enclosure peering over the grass. But I think it's great to have such lovely news and something to lighten the mood given the recent events across the country.

Have a great weekend, off to see if I can finally get to sleep!
Barbara

I guess this is actually really like her natural world, seen lurking through the grass. Makes a fine image and so good to learn about her lovely news.

Good shot Barbara of her peering through the grass.
And we certainly need some cheery news now.
Perhaps I might win the lottery tonight !!

I'm not a huge fan of the out of focus foreground but the tiger's gaze enough is strong enough to get over that.
