Wanting to try the tilt and shift technique, I set out to try and get some suitable shots..
It just wasn't what I was after.. sun away went just after I got into town, and couldn't get to any suitable vantage points. But I experimented with the technique and came up with these.
Fun to do, but want to improve the pics a bit..

Good this isn't it?
I had a go at this using a (not very good) image of a distant church, shot from above after reading the tutorial on here.
As you say, fun to do and a little frustrating 'cos it never seems to come out quite the way you'd like (!) but with patience it's quite rewarding.

I like! I can see that a high vantage point helps a lot! In V1 I think it wold be more effective if the front car was in focus? but then you would probably want more OOF foreground so I can see why you did what you did1

I've done a couple of these myself and they're great fun. I think these ones work well, though #1 would be stronger with the front car in focus.
