Exploring my First Car
I was way too busy to comment today, but I am posting this to thankBarbara Hirst and Oliverpants (Ann) for their User Awards and everyone else for the many wonderful comments on Bonnie Bonica.
This image is restored and edited----from an archived family collection I have gathered together.
Entertaining House guests just now!
LATE EDIT: v2 is the original as requested---The image was cut by someone to fit into an album-- does anyone know of a program, plug-in etc that would replicate the rippled edges?

See you are turning the clock back just a year or two here, Jenn.
It's great to see this sort of image and compare it with the results possible today with modern digital cameras and computers. Bet you were all dressed up to go out and got yourself mucky off the running board.
Ronnie.
The age when cars really did look that enormous to our little eyes.

Heh!!!! you looked like me when you were young
Dare I suggest the same type of car as well
Great work and a lovely image, if you ever find a plug in for the edges, let me know. I was thinking of making a template myself from an old photo, if I do, I'll let you have a copy. Ann
Awwww! How cute! Thank you for sharing this special photo with us Jenn!

Excellent restoration work Jennnn, thanks for sharing this one with us
I know all about being too busy to comment! I'm just trying to do some catching up!
I think PaintShop Pro might have some frames that can be put around images to simulate older photos. I haven't loaded my version XII but I will check and see and let you know if it does have the capability. Not as good a program as PhotoShop, but with a much easier user interface, more intuitive and with some bells and whistles of its own!
Anne
