I have been experimenting with different software.
In this one I have played about with using picMonkey.com and photoshop elements 10.
The street lamp and colours are as captured.
I added a brick effect in picmonkey.com
Then in photoshop elements 10 I added a lens flare to the centre of the streetlamp to make it look like it is on.
I also used filter and stylized it by extruding the image.
I hope you like this experiment.

What you can also do is add this as a masked layer over the original image and then bring detail back from parts of the lamp - its a mix then or reality and extruded layer - I love the extruded filter ![]()
