Three superb images, Costas, I think V.2 gets my vote, closely followed by V.3. Carol

A great trio with V2 being my favourite. Fiercesome expression as befits a Tiger!

I'll go against the trend and choose V1, for the angle, placement, and the close-cropped look. Powerful.

V2 should have been your first version, in my view. A much better image in terms of impact, would probably attract more clicks from the thumbnail... Wink

V1 is nice, but it lacks the punch that v2 has.

v3 is also good, but I think it would work better with a bit less space on the right, crop to 5x4 ratio maybe and try place head closer to a top right third, it's a bit too central in my opinion in the present composition. I tried a modification to the image and would gladly upload if you enable modifications. Would also have a crack at v2 if you did so!

Either way, you get my vote, well earned.

Thanks folks, Moira, i am so glad you pick V1 it's not a crop, its feeding time and she is not getting her share.....so she just moved in to my frame (glass between us guys, come on !! ) and i have clicked instinctively, my focal length is 70mm have a look at the data, the reason i really like it is that you can see my reflection in the eye.......
Alistair thanks for your suggestions and vote i don't believe in mods and i am not in this site for the clicks.....hard to compose a hungry fast moving tiger, even behind glass.thanks again for your time.

I knew it wasn't an actual crop, I said it had a close-cropped look. Maybe I don't express myself too clearly when I get enthusiastic!
This is seize-the-moment, most of what I do happens by instinct not planning. It's something that I value.

love V2, especially the sharpness around the eyes and wiskers. Over all three good shots
