I was looking for an unusual angle on the Red Arrows display team at Swanage, Ballard Down some 300ft above the sea and about 2 miles from the town gave me the angle I was looking for. The jet approached and climbed swiftly after coming across the bay lower than the cliffs. I was very pleased with the result and the way the camera and lens handled the shot.

That's a cracker, John! Like a great red dolphin leaping out of the sea. That lens is a beaut, the nut on the shutter is doing quite well too.
