Another older one today i am afraid - yes i have been out in the snow but only to shoot some more local scenes for a local charity calender - and to be honest the skies are not exactly interesting.
So, here is an Eagle that got a tad damp at a workshop some time back - don't feel too sorry for him, our exposure to the elements was considerably more prolonged and without the tree cover.
Newer viewers - do note that i 'gambled' here regards reicprocity, ie i was at 200mm focal length on a full frame camera (which simply means i do not have to factor in a crop multiplier) so my shutter speed for hand-held shot should really have been at least 1/200. At 1/125 there was a chance that i would accidentally blur the image due to camera shake - i cannot recall but i may have used a fence post or such to brace myself.
