Went over to Skye at the weekend and decided to walk up to the Fairy Pools to see if there was any more water than the last time we were there. Sadly there was even less so the pools were almost non existent. So much so that we met a couple of girls at the top of the falls who asked if they were going the right way for the Fairy Pools and we had to tell them that they'd just walked past them without noticing!

Many thanks for your votes and comments on my last upload.

Despite the lack of flowing water, you have still managed an impressive capture at this time of the year, the trickles of water in the f/g echoing the snow filled gullies in the mountains.

Despite the lack of more water you've captured a very fine image. There's a real sense of "horseshoe" to it which I love.

Sue- A lovely capture. Again good lighting and well presented against that stunning background of mountains. I was up here a couple of weeks ago when the temperature was at 13 degrees, slightly more water running but still frozen in places. So planning a trip to here next marchwhen it should all be running free. A stunning place to visit even when frozen. Thank you for sharing, brings back great memories.

Lack of water seems rather odd, with the abundance of it everywhere over the last year! Wink But a stunning capture, Sue, beautifully captured, processed and presented Smile

Impressive shot !!!......strong composition, & exquisite quality !!!!.......love the 'real' water !(as opposed to the 'milky' effect )

I like this, Sue. The trickling water, the stranded boulder on the left. Far better than most images where the water is full.

Still makes for a lovely picture Sue, as you've shown very well here.
Glad you managed a little time away.
