Another image of the non-existent Fairy Pools from our visit to Glenbrittle on Skye last weekend.

There was so little water in the pools that it almost looked like a lunar landscape Smile

You'd never expect these pools to be so drained of flow, knowing what the average rainfall is in that part of the land: so plenty more rock on show, rocks that would normally be under water. Your analogy with a lunar landscape does seem apt.
Ronnie.

An image with so much to allow one to sit back, look at and admire.

Rather sad to see so little Water there Sue, got plenty down here at the mo' and hasn't stopped Raining all Day again.
The Fairy Pools looks such a lovely location, and as nice as this picture is, I think we need to use our imagination somewhat, but thankfully, we can revert back to the lovely images that you took earlierSmile

I'm sure that water's getting less and less with each successive image! They are still super shots, despite that lack of water, Sue, and this one's no exception Smile
