Cromer sands in September, seen from the pier.

I have tried alternative crops but this is the one I like.

Great pov, I thought you were flying over them, Bill. Fabulous capture, lovely to see them enjoying to be there even from above.

Strong shadows and lots of tension with people going in different directions, Bill.

Nnow this is good, Bill. The shadows pointing towards the empty space you have so cleverly left in, thus gives a feeling of ownership - the family telling others to keep off their 'property' in a sense.

Thought you must be in hot air balloon, but I see it was just the pier: the empty sand with the strong shadows directed there makes for an image with a lot of impact.

A wonderfully observed and composed photograph Bill. The point of view playing the major part. Great lengthy shadows

Regards and I hope that you have a very Merry Christmas.

I have opted out of shadows today as I've uploaded a Christmas greeting. This however is a fantastic capture Bill - that lovely triangle of activity and shadows placed so well in the frame certainly deserves my User Award and more SmileSmile

Nothing nicer than an empty beach with a few people doing what they do. I like the high angle and those footprints leading us around the image.
