Yes I completely agree - this would be nothing without that touch of red - that is a masterstroke even though it doesn't really make sense (it is restricted to tightly to the vanishing point - for me to be convinced but that doesn't detract).

Thanks all for viewing and comments. I suppose I put the capability of a 350d to capture this one to its extreme and I agree with Ketch that while the subject matter was not that interesting, the lead in, perspective and vanishing point was my principal objective in making this capture work. We do not have to have imposing panoramic landscape if we can work with the basics of composition on less attractive views. ..............paddy
