Some feathers, a duck left behind.

The startings of a duvet?

I took down todays posting, and yesterday's. A comment made me realise how insensitive my little "joke" had been. I don't think it went down too well, so I've replaced it with this. I apologise if anybody was offended.

My apologies to Anne but I enjoyed your joke because I feel exactly like that when confronted by a stubborn tetra pack. This meanwhile is much calmer.

I got the impression from the lack of views, much less votes, over the last 2 days that most people didn't approve. The decision was unltimately mine.

I certainly don't wish to blame anybody for it's removal. Far from it. I thanked her by PM for her feedback. She just made me think a little more about a post I'd been in 2 minds about anyway.

My feedback was not intended to offend or spoil a silly Sunday image. I was merely making a comment truthfully on my own personal feelings - you did what you thought was right Dave and I admire you for that but you honestly didnt need to remove the picture. Having said that you now have a second opportunity at getting in some votes and sincere comments. Tomorrow is another day.
A much calmer image - would make good nesting material for another duck if its not too late.

Ann

Your comments didn't offend in any way. I also admired your honesty. They made me rethink a posting I wasn't entirely happy with myself, for similar reasons to yours. As I said, ultimately the decision was mine, as it was to upload it in the first place, & I named no names so nobody would take any "blame" for censoring me.

Once again, I thank you for your input.
Dave.
