well this one again is not wild, but neither was it posed for camera - else i would have put is onto someting a little more 'natural'
this new member to the team was being used in an open-day exhibition and had seemingly sat on the back of this bench to peruse the spectators.

personally i do like the 2.8... but you do have to consider how often you will actually use it to it's potential - mine is the old version but it would probably still be twice the price of the F4 lens.
i probably use the wide end more than most folk, but as you can see here, this was taken at f4.5 so could have been done with the lesser cost lens and i doubt anyone including myself could have seen the difference.
