Another Great Orme ( LLandudno ) Silver Studded Blue -- this time a female. This is an extremely small butterfly . When at rest the wing span is circ 3/4 on an inch. I think the detail has come up quite well.

The close up is so very well detailed - I think we forget sometimes how tiny these little beauties are and what skill to capture them so well.
