A female tufted duck I saw on the Rushy Pen Lake at Slimbridge on a visit to the wetlands centre during the Christmas holidays in the company of fellow epzer gary_d.

It appears to be just resting there, there being no ripples, and a fine shot it is, Ed, with good detail in the darkish plumage.
