Great image Kaz.
Good sharp detail and a nice background.
Like the perch with the moss on the top and the lychen on the side, but maybe competes with the bird too much.

Can see your point Derek might be to much for some,but landscape just didn t look right with just a bit of post, it was crying out for portrait, being narrower than some posts they were landing on and with the detail on it instead of a boring old post I thought I would just about get away with it, so thats why I did it this way,cheers for the comment.

Not too much perch for me.I think this works superbly, giving it extra context and the sense of height. For me, although I don't take bird pics, I prefer those that aren't just about the bird but add in their surroundings and habitat.

So for a non-birder like me, this works! Smile Beautiful detail and clarity too.
