Thanks for your support and comments on St Paul's. One day up town every now and then is enough for me. Back to the forests for this one. FernGully - not exactly the magical rain forest of the film, but a ditch at High Beach in Epping Forest (just NE of London). The unseasonal weather has produced some unseasonal growth and these new fronds were caught in a lovely shaft of light.

Have a good evening,

Cheers, Dave

I like the impact this one has with the contrast of subject and background light. The subject light is excellent. Great capture. Well done. WesternRed.

I love the angle of the frond. Nice one. And where did you find the leprechaun in the background ? Probably an asylum seeker.

I see these ferns lit up as I walk around the countryside, but I've never managed to capture one like this! Brilliant capture Dave - the light is amazing.

Just seen both your latest uploads. For me this is the better of the two - it is repeating what has already been said, but it is all about the lighting, which is just lovely.
