Excellent shot, how did you know where to wait? Or were you just lucky and waiting for insects?
Thanks Annette, nothing clever with this shot I fear.
As it was at the British Wildlife Centre it is one of two captive mice that were placed onto different plants and allowed to roam at will.
It was then a simple job to wait until the mouse was in the right position and take the shot. (the most difficult aspect was getting access to take the shot as people tend to crowd around with macro lenses and block ones view)
Thanks folks, Paul, do they bring them in in their mouths to show them to you?
(Our old Burmese did this, as a sign he was trying to teach us to hunt - apparently
)
Have a great time Val, it can be a lovely session if there aren't too many attendees (a bit over-populated this time)
Yes all the time and they drop them at my feet, there`s still one under the cooker ![]()
Fantastic shot, that's the sort of shot all nature photographer would like to take.
