been messing about with this old shot of my daughter.. have to get her to pose for me again soon though i hardly see her these days :-( , anyway, can't decide if i like it or not now it's done lol
thanks for taking a look
...and any FB
Both beautiful, - kinda prefer the V2 crop, - focal point seems not to be on her face in V1.
Beautiful image in both version - but prefer v2 as I feel it gives more depth to the image. Lovely. Bruce
Prefer V1 - and the b/ground is so apt for her expression. Super work, Jo.
V1 for composition, but both are magical.
Excellent portrait and treatment.
beautiful, prefer V1
hmm i still can't decide on the crop myself lol
Superb, just perfect.
A good looking young lady, well photographed, and I like the background effect. Prefer the crop in V1, I think it helps the viewer concentrate more on her face.
brilliant love it
Joe this is just your amazing work through and through
Both absolutely lovely.
Another terrific shot Jo
God but she's pretty Jo. Reminds me of Alice in Wonderland for some reason. Don't know why though. V1 for me ... I like the tighter crop.
V1 I think but both excellent.
i think V1....such a beautiful portrait of her, and that background adds a bit of 'edge'..
excellent work jo
thanks very much everyone!
I love it
Like the contrast between teh skin and the grungy background.
Can't make up my mind about which is a better crop though
Beutiful, Jo. Ron.
V1 for me. I like both the placement of her in the frame and the use of the background as contrast to her wonderfully smooth skin. The color and content of the background also serves to give this such an innocent appeal.
(I know what you mean about not seeing them....flying from the nest...wish I could bring back those wonderful moments when they were closer to home.)
Lovely. Both goo but I like v1 best.
v1 comp wise. it's a great edit this and I can see that this is an older one of your daughter. Interesting how we get to know each other's children through the www.
Uncropped is better imho. Great expression with super lighting.
Beautiful in every way Jo.
I like both versions, but maybe version 2 just comes out on top for me. They are both beautiful photos though; you must be pleased with yourself! Well done!
Version 2 for me
I prefer version 2 too...
thanks all for your FB re the crop & lovely comments..
and thanks very much for your award John! much appreciated
V1 for me, she's beautiful.
I don't have words to express my feelings.. superb portfolio... Keeeeeeeeep it up Sensational images with great detail that shows your true aesthetic sense
V1 works for me, focuses on your daughters eyes, a better balance to the image.
and for your award Nicholas thanks very much!
She's a stunning beauty, and her appearance itself seems to enchant the image. Love your processing too, tasteful and well fitting. Both work for me, just fab!
V1 with V2 coming a close second lol!
Jo, you really have been prolific this year and as I've not been on much lately it's great to look through so much of your work in one sitting! This is a wonderful image and I really enjoy both versions. The colour, expression, processing and the choice of images are all first class. Keep it going!!
A stunning shot of a stunning subject!
Version 1 for me, the composition works better.
preciosa... V 1
