I'm sure this bird expended more energy trying to defend about two hundred old apples than it managed to gain from eating the one!! Thanks for clicks on recent posts - as always, much appreciated.

A cracking shot of this proud looking bird, he looks in good condition
I used to find the thrush chased the redwing and field fare away like there was some sort of competition going on - either that or they just didnt like one another![]()
What a cracking shot Dave,great detail too,i have seen load's of these but i can't get close enough,
