Hello everybody!
Firstly a great big thankyou to everyone for votes and comments on my last image "Tongue And Cheek" and a special thanks to "Saltireblue" Malc for his UA on the imageGrinGrinGrin I am thrilled!
I took this one at the weekend in Derbyshire in a little place called Brackenfield, a field crammed with sunflowers, and I even bothered to give the tripod a dust offWink I did venture through the gate into the field but the tripod was no good in there........... the sunflowers were too high I would have needed at least 3 feet extensions on the tripod and a ladder to reach the cameraTongue
Hope you like it.

With light like that you probably wouldn't need a tripod. Watch your camera settings though, Diane. 1/2000 at f4 is a little extreme. 1/250 at f11 would have been a better balance, but having said that you've got a sharp colourful image and a good composition.

That is a wonderful site Diane, all those sunflowers.

I think the image works better by cropping off the wall. The sunflowers have a greater presence in the image, just my thoughts I hope you don’t mind.

Wonderful image. We travelled half the length of Spain today and there were lots of sunflower fields, some with plants still in flower, some with drooping seed heads. All were utterly enchanting and well worth a photograph but we were on the motorway, so thank you for providing me with this.

Excellent shot Diane.
So well coloured.
And dunno if you watch Breakfast TV with that Kate Galloway ?
You could have borrowed the extensions she had.
On Friday, they must have been 3 foot extensions she had in her hair !!
