Photo taken from Dingli cliffs Malta. The island is called Filfla and when the British navy was based in Malta they unfortunately used it as a target for practice. Hope you like it straight from the camera. Thanks to all for your comments on my previous uploads

Instructive and very nice capture.
Personnally, i prefer photos straight from camera or with only few correction if really needed, it show the real photo.
I like a lot the tons, it change so much from classical sunrises etc..

Like the blue and sky, just a horizon straightening and it would be better.

A lovely image .Love the colour.Hope the island is recovering now. Gill

I think there is no shame in post-processing photographs. Indeed, if you shoot in RAW you have to post-process. Photoshop is the modern darkroom.

Most images straight from the camera benefit from some sharpening. But am I the only one who thinks this image also needs some straightening?

Anyway, with some post-processing, I think this photograph would be a real winner!

Hi Peter ,
I agree with you that it needs some straightening. I should pay more attention before I upload my images. Also it needs more processing, such as sharpness etc.
Thanks for your constructive critique, which I find very helpful to improve my work.

I like the shot of Filfla. Your brother has a very similar shot but different colouring!
