The River Findhorn near Randolph's Leap this autumn. You get no idea of scale without people but just as I arrived and before I could set up, several 6-person rafts whipped through here with much screaming!

The Findhorn is one of my favourite rivers Al and this is a beautiful, Autumnal shot of it. Super colours and just the right amount of water blur.

Beautiful natural colours, would never have thought a 6 person raft would have squeezed through , spot on with the exposure on the water too

A lovely sinuous and diagonal flow with just enough movement, Al, and you've worked those Autumnal colours beautifully.

Indeed it is a spectacular spot. The colours here are beautiful and the river winds its way nicely through the image.

Outstanding image both technically and artistically, Al. The autumnal hues and detailed foreground provide a strong frame to the snaking river.

I know why you said that John but believe it or not I didn't have to increase the saturation in processing, the foliage was exceptional and the polariser really saturated the colour in camera so I was loathe to tone it down! Smile

As someone who has been known to (slightly Wink) over saturate images on the odd occasion....I would say this was spot on. Great pov too with the river winding through the scene Smile
