I was sitting in the house thinking what to do when i looked out the window at the sun going down. The sky looked like fire as it was clouding up as the sun set, just had to nip out before it vanished to try to capture it. Not much alteration to this one as this was the true colour of the sky. I have another couple which are more intense. I like this as you can still see the birds on the tree and even one taking off..

Lose the power lines and you lose the bird sitting on them. And the birds are important for me in this one - they're the dynamic, alive element.
So I wouldn't get rid of the lines. They do however show signs of over-sharpening - that's why they have those diagonal breaks if you look closely.

Great shot. For me, keep the power lines - birds gives them a purpose! ![]()

you have a bird on a wire to - few too many wires I might clone some out but a great sunset
Great feeling when you manage to get a grab shot such as this Dan, and you've presented it very well, I like that frame! The power lines are a fact of life and don't bother me in the least!
Rgds., Jim
PS. Will send you a pm. later when I have a bit more time, very much into trying to catch up with everyone and everything meantime. Not helped by how slow I'm finding things, it took me over an hour to get tonights upload on.
Definitely a deep purple atmosphere. Sorry can't vote ?!?!
