Not a bad effort at all, Pam, much better than my first go, anyway i think this one is actually quite creative and has good composition. Next time try a smaller aperture and experiment with shutter speeds, checking your images as you go, however, you must use a tripod. Lots of info on fireworks on the net, well worth a bit of research.

I've only once been out to shoot fireworks but can't remember advised settings.
Your image is a good artistic image and no doubt future images will show your advancement in
knowledge and finesse.
