On the second night of my holiday ( Saturday). Barry drove me to Peterborough on his friend's directions. Crawled for what seemed miles before we found a parking space . then we had to go through a gate and up a long long track . Then we saw someone in the dark and asked if it was the right way to the firework display and they replied they hoped so . I had my Camera bag and my stick , poor Barry carried all his gear and two hefty tripods. Suddenly we came upon this lake and only a few people standing about . The majority must have turned left when we turned right . We found a space , set up our tripods , Camera set to 100 ISO 5" @f16 cable release and BANG !! at 8pm. sharp it started . Such explosions of colour I kept forgetting to take the pictures. I did squeal with delight . I've never seen anything so stupendous 'cept for London .Hope you enjoy . I certainly did .xx

This is a super shot - the reflection is the obvious draw, but I love the trees silhouetted against the sparks. Really attractive.
Moira
Amazing composition - have done loads of fireworks and have never seen anything like the first one.
Well captured
Andy
Superb images, Mavis, and what a great description!
Bill
These are grand. Number one being my favorite because of the reflections and silhouettes, but the others are also wonderful.

Great image Mavis, this could fall under many headings in my opinion. Really good stuff, well done.
